San Francisco: the city that knows how! Knows how to lift weights that is! FloElite heads to the city by the bay this weekend to LIVE stream Spring Breaker — one of the West Coast's premier weightlifting competitions. Hosted by the Doherty Brothers' Hassle Free Barbell Club, Spring Breaker is a USA Weightlifting sponsored event and brings in some of the nation's elite lifters.

This weekend's event is highlighted by national champions and world-level stars. Pan Am/World Team member and 2013 American Open Champion, David Garcia, will be in attendance as will fellow American Open Champion, Ariel Stephens, and 17 and under American record holder, Megan Seegert. 

The crème de la crème at this weekend's event, however, is 2013 World Championships bronze medalist and defending European Champion, Lidia Valentín. One of Spains all time greatest lifters, Valentín owns personal bests of 124kg (Snatch) and 147kg (Clean & Jerk). We expect her to put on a show this weekend and are hoping she tests her best competition snatch, 122kg, which has stood since the 2013 World Championships.
