James Lawrence is fitter than you. Never heard of him? Well, after this you'll never forget him.

The Iron Cowboy is a triathlete and a damn good one at that. He holds multiple World Records for triathlons including completing 22 half Ironman races in 30 weeks and 30 full Ironman races in one year.

But compared to what he just did, that's chump change.

Iron Cowboy just completed 50 full length Ironman races in 50 days in 50 states. Just think about what you just read there. One Ironman triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and finally a full fucking marathon (26.2 miles of running).

He started in Hawaii on June 6th and successfully did 50 days of consecutive Ironman triathlons in 50 different states. Considering winning the Kona Ironman takes just over 8 hours, it's safe to say The Iron Cowboy probably split his time between crushing the boundaries of what's physically possible, travelling across the country, and trying to recover from being a superhuman.

In total he swam 120 miles, biked 5,600 miles, and ran 1,310 miles in what might be one of the most amazing physical and mental feats in human history right behind dealing with the carnage that are his toes (careful with that link, it's kinda gross).
