Karl Gudmundsson surprised everyone last year by taking third place at the Games and this weekend we get to see him back in action. He should find plenty of competition from the now healthy Frederik Aegidius and defending Regional champion Jonne Koski.

Bjorgvin Karl Gudmundsson

The 23-year-old Icelandic Champion surprised the CrossFit world by taking third at the Games last year in his second appearance in Carson.

Frederik Aegidius

He's failed to qualify for the Games the last two years. The 2x Games athlete's hunger to make it back is real.

Mikko Aronpaa

In 2013 Aronpaa became the first European man to qualify for the Games three years in a row. He hasn't been back since.

Jonne Koski

At the young age of 21, Koski is no rookie to Regionals. He was the European Regional Champion in 2014, and the Meridian Regional Champion in 2015.

Lukas Hogberg

Hogberg will be fighting for his third trip to Carson. He finished 23rd at the Games in 2014, and 30th in 2015. He finished 2nd and 4th at his Regional respectively.
