In Games News...
- Briggs is on US soil! Sam Briggs arrived in the US the morning of check in from an overnight flight.
- Zeus? Is that you? It might be the rig from the 2015 Games.
- Castro announced Team Event 6- the Double Worm Sprint.
- We hung out with Brent Fikowski, Margaux Alvarez, and Meg Reardon. First we sat down and had a chat, then we explored the athlete hotel.
- New shoe alert- do the new Reebok shoes imply a new event for 2016?
- A new toy (assumed to be used by teams) was introduced via Instagram- big bob.
- At the Athlete Dinner, Dave Castro let everyone know this would be a special year. He also gave details on three of the events.

- The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) released further evidence today of Russia's widespread, state-sponsored doping as a potential call to action for sport governing bodies to ban Russia entirely from competing in Rio.
- The IOC is weighing tough penalties with the latest on the release of a report that confirmed widespread doping in Russian sports.
- USA Weightlifting has confirmed Pyrros Dimas will join them as the Technical Director in mid-2017.
