Season 21 of ABC's "The Bachelor" selected a familiar face for its leading man: Nick Viall. He infamously appeared not once, not twice, but a whopping three times on "The Bachelorette" and one of its spin-offs.

Apparently, he decided to work out his lovelorn frustrations in the gym. Viall, who took up CrossFit after his second failed attempt on season 11 of "The Bachelorette," frequently shares his workouts on Instagram:

The Waukesha, Wisconsin, native has a history of athletic achievement. He was the Wisconsin state 800m champion in 1999, and earned a track and field scholarship from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he later became team captain.
