Sam Briggs Crushes World Record In 1,000m Row
With a resume that includes five appearances at the CrossFit Games, Sam Briggs' name is nearly synonymous with the word "fit." And when it comes to the Concept2 rower, her engine is nothing short of monstrous.

So it shouldn't exactly be a surprise that she crushed the 1,000m world record for the women's lightweight category in the 30-39 age bracket this week by rowing through the distance in 3:23.90.

Briggs also boasts the world record in same category and age bracket for the 500m row.

Here's a clip from her world record-setting performance at CrossFit Indestri in Collingwood, Ontario:

At this rate, it's just a matter of time before Briggs sets that 2km record she has her eyes on.
