CrossFit Signs With WME-IMG
This week CrossFit signed on with WME-IMG, the super agency behind athletes such as Serena and Venus Williams, the NHL, NFL, and the new owners of the UFC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter (never thought I'd be referencing The Hollywood Reporter about CrossFit, Inc.), WME-IMG will help CrossFit find new opportunities to promotes itself, license its product, find new sponsors, and even possibly help with live events management.
With a company like WME-IMG behind them, I suspect CrossFit will be pursuing a more aggressive monetization of its assets. The CrossFit name is valuable, and the demographic it serves is highly valuable for advertisers and producers alike.
This deal could help CrossFit bring bigger business into the Games as well as better control how they are exposed in more mainstream media.
