Jacob Heppner, the 7th Fittest Man On Earth, has withdrawn from the 2017 CrossFit Games season due to knee bursitis:

After suffering from knee bursitis for the past few weeks, Heppner has called off his 2017 season. While Heppner is known for his training volume, he's also had a ton of success at the CrossFit Games. Sitting out a season will be tough for a competitor at his level, but hopefully he comes back strong and healthy in 2018.
