Team USA Earns More Medals At Junior Pan Ams!
Jordan Wissinger, Jacob Horst, Jourdan Delacruz, Taylor Turner, Dale Loch, and Juliana Riotto compete at and earn medals at the 2017 IWF Junior Pan Am Championships!
It's been an exciting couple days of competition at the 2017 IWF Junior Pan Am Championships, and Team USA has earned several medals with some awesome performances.
Jordan Wissinger (69) had quite the performance yesterday at the Junior Pan Am Championships, snatching 127kg/279lb to give him silver in the snatch along with bronze overall. Not only is Wissinger a dedicated athlete, but a full time student as well in hopes to pursue a career in Athletic Training out of Alvernia University. Wissinger trains out of Garage Strength under coach Dane Miller along with 4 other competitors representing Team USA while in Ecuador.

His 158kg/347lb clean and jerk back at Junior Nationals put him on the team for Junior Pan Ams as well as the world team.

Keep an eye out for Wissinger as he prepares to represent the country yet again at the Junior World Championships in Tokyo in less than a month!
Jacob Horst (62) was in the following session representing Team USA and Garage Strength. While he bombed in the snatch, he managed a competition PR with a 137kg/301lb clean and jerk.
The women of Team USA had fantastic days on the platform as well. 17-year-old Jourdan Delacruz (53) of Power and Grace Performance set three Junior American Records and earned bronze in the snatch with an 81kg/178lb lift, silver in the clean & jerk with a 102kg/224lb lift and won silver overall with a 183kg total.

Following Delacruz's session, Taylor Turner (58) secured her silver medal in the snatch as well as silver in the total snatching 84kg/185lb and clean and jerking 101kg/222lb for a 185kg total!
Two more of Garage Strength's lifters, Dale Loch (77) and Juliana Riotto (75), also medaled for Team USA at Junior Pan Ams. Loch came in third place in the snatch with his 126kg/277lb snatch and Riotto won bronze across the board, securing her medal with this 90kg/198lb snatch.
