24 Hours Of Murph Will Motivate You And Blow Your Mind
UK's Dave Barry completes eleven Murphs in 24 hours to raise awareness for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Dave Barry, a 59-year-old CrossFitter from the UK, did something incredible to support veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder: 24 hours of Murph.
Usually, you hit Murph with your crew and then spend the rest of the day enjoying some beer and barbecue. Barry, who isn't a soldier but has friends who suffer from PTSD, chose to do Murph as many times as possible in 24 hours. Throughout all 11 rounds, Barry wore a weighted vest, making it even more impressive.
He had help from his members of his gym, really highlighting the magic of the CrossFit community. He had athletes helping him out with pacing, going back and forth with his rounds of Cindy, and providing some massage between Murphs. A very impressive feat of both mental and physical strength!
