There are a lot of weightlifters in the world who are incredibly talented and strong but who aren't particularly well-known. Saeid Alihosseini is one of those weightlifters. Here is someone you've probably never seen lift before hit an insanely easy 250kg/551lb clean and jerk:

According to the IWF, Alihosseini last competed internationally in the 2006 Junior World Championships where he took gold in the men's 105+ category. While Alihosseini is the junior world record holder for the snatch, clean and jerk, and total in the super heavyweights, he was popped for PEDs twice in the late 2000s and has been serving a long suspension since then.

It seems he was able to shorten his second suspension from 12 years to eight years and will be competing at the 2017 IWF World Championships. Here's a video of him snatching 210kg/462lb:

With numbers like that, he's set up for a solid run at the podium. His biggest competition will likely be Georgia's Lasha Talakhadze, the current world and Olympic champion and world record holder in the snatch and total, which means we're in for a very exciting competition at the 2017 worlds later this year in Anaheim, California.
