Imagine combining a rower, bicycle, and SkiErg all into one. Well, you can stop, because Concept 2 has done it again, adding a new cardio misery machine to the family: the BikeErg.

The makers of SkiErg and Concept 2 rower teamed up and created this new monster. The BikeErg is a light-weight (58 pounds) stationary bike that gives the athlete the feel of riding a bicycle outside. The flywheel air resistance technology allows the rider to experience the similar feeling of changing gears on a bicycle. The BikeErg also gives you the ability to control the challenge and intensity of your workout by the power in which you pedal. 

Dave Castro and well-known athletes in the CrossFit community have already been using the BikeErg, so don’t be surprised if the BikeErg makes an appearance in Regionals or the Games.
