FloElite's Favorite Shoes Of 2017

We took a moment at FloElite to reflect on our favorite shoes from 2017. Rather than limiting our picks to just the shoes that released this year, we opened it and allowed any shoe to be entered.

Because, honestly, even with the new shoes that dropped this year, these are the shoes we keep coming back to time and time again.

Armen’s Pick

Nike Metcon 3

The Nike Metcon 3s are the best overall training shoe from 2017. They’re durable, stiff, comfortable, and reliable in pretty much any situation you can find yourself in the gym. Sure, you won’t be running very far in them, but most of our training takes place in a closed environment and these shoes excel at exactly that.

Chase’s Pick

Reebok Nano 2

Reebok nailed it on their second try. The Nano 2s' legacy speaks for itself. Reebok even decided to re-released them this year. The Nano 2s are perfect for nearly every workout; the only time I don’t wear them is for heavy Olympic lifting and high-volume rope climbs.

Matt’s Picks

Reebok TR 2.0

This is my favorite and most-used shoe. The Reebok Workout TR 2.0 is everything I look for in a shoe and has the best price point — you can find them at $60 in some places. This is not a commonly used shoe as it lives in the shadows of some of the bigger Reebok products, but it’s definitely a contender. The Workout TR 2.0 is a comfortable, very lightweight shoe that is durable and has breathability like no other. This shoe can be used for any good CrossFit workout and isn’t too bad of a running shoe. For the price, you should definitely give these guys a shot.

Stephanie’s Picks

Nike Romeleos II

I don’t buy new fitness shoes nearly as often as I should, but luckily for me, my go-to shoe has lasted me a long time. When I don’t have my Nike Romaleo II’s on during my lifting, my Nike training shoes are my favorite sneaker to throw on to head to the gym or go on a long hike. Their flexibility and lightweight feel are my favorite for any type of activity.
