Gear Geek: Harbinger FlexFit Contour Belt
You see belts and other accessories in the gym all the time, but you may not know that Harbinger is the leading manufacturer of these products. With nearly a dozen different belt options, there’s something for everyone. Today, I’m taking a look at the Harbinger FlexFit Contour.
The FlexFit Contour is a velcro belt which tapers up to a six inch wide panel in the back. The classic issue with velcro belts is that they come undone and open up midlift and while I’ve had that experience with other velcro belts before this, this Harbinger belt didn’t have any of those issues. Once tightened and fastened, the velcro stuck well and I never felt it give or relax on me when I needed it most.
The biggest benefit of a velcro belt is that you can quickly tighten or loosen it depending on what your workout requires and the Harbinger belt was incredibly easy to adjust to just the right tension even in the middle of a workout.
Overall, the Harbinger Flexfit Contour is well built and supportive. It works well for everything from heavy lifting to mixed modal workouts and will stand up well to the abuses of regular training.
