Leo Hernandez Clean and Jerks 1 Kg Over the US Record With 191 Kgs

In training prior to the 2014 Soul Open, Leo Hernandez made it clear his goal was to break the current US C&J record, held by Chad Vaughn (190 kilos). On November 2, competing at the Soul Open in the 77Kg weight class, Hernandez clean and jerked 191 kilos on his final attempt. Since this is not a national competition, Hernandez did not officially break the US record, but he can claim dominance in the lift, having proved to successfully hit more than Vaughn.
